Yaeger CPA Review Review - Based On Personal Experience
The Yaeger CPA review course wasn't the first one I ever decided to buy. After trying a different CPA review course, I failed 3 out of 4 sections one the CPA examination. The founder, Dr. Phil Yaeger, has been preparing students for the exam since 1977. I myself have called this number a lot of times and have spoken to very tolerant instructors (including Dr. Yaeger himself) who refuse to hang up the phone until I was no longer confused.
The lecture videos are not boring and are presented by qualified instructors. The instructor would start by describing relevant concepts, then cover MCQs and simulations. A major advantage of the Yaeger course is that more lecture time is spent on concepts that are more likely to appear on the exam. Similarly, they recommend that students spend time on practice questions that are most likely to turn up on the actual exam.
Particularly helpful are Yaeger's cram DVDs which can add between 5-15 points to your CPA examination result. Every lecture covers a single CPA section and lasts anywhere from 7-16 hours. The Yaeger CPA review course contents are updated every year, including lecture videos which are filmed every year. So, the student can be certain that they are getting the current information.
Amazingly, in spite of their high quality and value, Yaeger CPA products come with lower price tags than many other CPA exam review courses.
